I have replace plugs , wires and icm (2 times). I took coil packs out and took coils to auto zone, had them test the coils which both were good compared them to a new coil, all read the same. when i replace the icm each time i test drove the car it ran like it should till i got about 2 blocks down the road , then it would all of sudden lose power each time.
I've done a search on subject and tried all remedies but to no avail i'm back to square 1. dunno whats going on . any suggestions on what it could be? I have to literaly mash pedal to floor to get out in traffic or from a stop to get going. if i give it gas like normal i'm crawling to get up to speed.

I don't have a definitive answer for you. First, pull the codes from the computer and let it give you a starting place. Second, ICM's and coil packs don't always test bad when they are bad. I had my bad ones tested and didn't show bad, but they were.

I'm sure someone else will have some more helpful ideas than mine. I just haven't had loss of power on mine yet. Only the ICM, coil packs were my biggest problem.

Hope you get it figured out soon.

Here is what it looks like not installed and installed.

Very easy to replace. It has 3 screws holding it on and can be removed with a 1/4 " ratchet or they do make a special tool sold at parts stores, just a little easier to use, but not necessary. Some come with some lube for the back, if not use dielectric grease. MAKE SURE YOU USE EITHER ONE, IF YOU DON'T THE ICM WILL FRY. IT HAS TO DO WITH DISSIPATING HEAT.

Most auto parts stores now have a specific cleaner for MAF sensors, I think it's made by CRC.
