I am about to buy a 93 cobra I am getting it for a real steal I am paying only 6700 hundred for it . it is an original owner car the guy is hard for cash and has to sell it. It has only 34000 original miles and never hit I know since Ive known him since he bought it new. Anyway he has done some mods to it and does not have all the original parts. I was wondering about specs and such as I am gonna try to track down some original parts bc I wanna try to at least have them so I can restore them. Also are there any cobra specific parts for this year? what cam did they use? I need cast iron gt40's I am missing those he has twisted wedge on it now. also outa curiosity what brakes did they use when they built these cars? I have tried scoa and svt website but cannot find any info so if you guys could help that would be great! thankx in advance!

Even in excellent condition a bone stock '93 Cobra is worth less than $5000 so $6700 is hardly a steal. I sure hope it has some good mods on it for that price.

Meat, you usually speak great truths, but in this case you are BADLY mistaken. 93 Cobras with those kind of miles routinely go for $12,000 to $14,000 if they are stock and their condition is appropriate to the mileage. A modded one like this is probably a $10,000 car easy, maybe more. The lowest I've seen one sell for locally was a 150,000+ mile black one for $7500.

If you can find lo-mile 93 Cobras for $5000, PM me some links, I'll buy 'em and resell 'em and cut you a $1,000 finder's fee check for each one.

I am sorry,I am going to disagree with you also. these cars hold their value very well unless you are thinking of maybe the newer body style as they are not as rare. Anyways does anyone have any info on these cars?

Damn... I've seen two since I've been down here in central Alabama and one sold for $5750 and the other (needed paint) went for $4800!

    Maybe they were Fobra's?

The price all depends on the local market. Ohio I have seen mint cars going for $10k and others going for $6k. The price your getting the car for is a nice average price and you can get the stock GT40 heads new in the back of MM&FF for $700 and sell your Twisted heads and break even.
