Could someone with a 93 Cobra, or someone who knows for sure help me out here? I'm just finishing up putting back together the entire engine and wiring on a 93 Cobra that I traded for and have only one vaccum issue that I can't figure out. I'm pretty sure the vaccum size line plug on the MAP Sensor is just a vent hole from what I've read. Is this correct? Also, I'm missing one vaccum line on the Vaccum Tree, or should I say, I have "no idea" what plugs into this smaller line on the Vaccum Tree. If you plug it off completely, the engine will die. Like I said, when I received this Cobra the engine bay was basically stripped, but I have it back to original except for this one issue. Can someone tell me where all the Vaccum Lines that plug into the tree on a 93 Cobra are supposed to go? I appreciate any help...
yes do not hook up the map sensor, ok starting from right to left!! brake booster cruise control a/c line going along the firewall (b/r) I plugged this one not really sure what its for and then the last one goes to the intake manifold the intake will have a tree on it as well, with some smaller ports on it one will go to the fuel regulator, one will go to the emissions control (egr ect.) on the front side of the intake, there will be a port under the upper manifold, this goes to the purge canister. any other ports jsut plug up with some good rubber pieces and your golden!!
