I’m a little concerned on the 93 cobra I bought. I noticied the vin plate isn’t in the corner of the dash like my other stangs. Is that normal? I called the guy I bought it from(2nd owner supposebly) and he was like, uh. I ran the vin at the credit union and also checked an online cobra vin decoder and the vin is for a cobra. Should I be concerned, or just leave it be? thanks

Hmmm, might want to run the VIN# by SVT (1-800-ford-svt) just to make sure, but it sounds like it's authentic. Why would the dash VIN plate be missing though?
The previous owner couldn't answer that for you? Sounds a little fishy to me...

is the VIN area blank or is it covered by an aftermarket windshield. I have seen cars that have aftermarket glass cover the VIN and I have heard of people not putting them back in if they worked on the dash (repairs, new dash, etc.). good luck.
