94-97 exhaust fit on 87-93 ??

I'm looking at getting an SLP loudmouth catback - they don't make them for pre-94 cars, but they do make a model for 94-97.

I noticed in a magazine ad that Mac lists one of their catback systems as fitting 79-95?? Is the catback really the same for all these years? If so I should have no problem fitting a system made for a 94 on my 89... has anyone tried this?

BTW yes I know SLP sells their mufflers individually, but my tailpipes are about due for replacing anyway.

SLP will be coming out with the loudmouth catback next year for the Fox body. I emailed them about it and they told me it could be out as soon as Jan.

I'm using a stock 2002 GT catback exhaust on my fox. Bolts right up.
