Our 95 took a nap yesterday...and I am at a loss. I thought it was the battery. It had been a little sluggish so I replaced the 2 year old battery....Fl hot weather is pretty rough on batteries. I bought a brand new fancy Napa battery...had it checked for power and it was good to go. Hooked it up but nothing. Light come on...12 volts at the battery......radio works....dash lights come in....dinger goes off.

When I turn the key...an click one click and nothing.
    Any idea's?

    Thanks.

Sounds to me either the starter finally went or the solenoid on the starter. One other thing you can try that I had issues with on my 5.0 theres a wire on the starter that just slides on. Mine keep coming loose and would wiggle off or almost off and the starter would just click if it was still contacting.

5.0 starters are notoriously bad. Even the ones from ford.
If it is the starter, ford has a high torque mini, for like $150 or so. That's the ticket.

If it's the solenoid, it will start if you jump it out, if you don't know what you are doing, do NOT do this.

My wire would keep coming loose also!
