I just bought a 1996 Cobra Convertible and am already having problems. When i start it up it will load up and sometimes will die, but after i rev it up it clears up and runs awsome. Also, sometimes when it dies, it doesnt want to start up. The ENTIRE fuel system has been replaced within the last 1k miles. What could be the problems? The car is completly stock except for the SLT cold air. It had a 90mm mass air on it when i bought it and replaced it with the stock one. Any help?

A good buddy of mine was having the same issues with his. After he got it running, he was on his way to trade it in on an S197 when the engine went KABOOM! Not trying to scare ya, lol. But it was the exact same problem.

Try cleaning (or replacing your IAC - Idle Air Controller) valve. It's connected to the top of the manifold.
