My '96 has an oil leak about 4 inches in back of the oil plug bolt. Is that the rear seal and how hard is that to fix? Thanks

It sounds like the oil pan gasket actually. But without pictures it would be hard to guess.

Its probably your oil pan or rear main seal leaking. If its the oil pan you will either have to drop the K-member or pull the motor!!
