I have the opportunity to buy a black/black 1997 Cobra for $11,900. It has a few bolt-ons to include 3.73 gears, exhaust, and CAI. No blower or underdrive pulleys. It has 82,XXX miles on it. Is this a good deal and/or should I be concerned about anything?

I haven't test driven it yet. I have seen pictures and it looks to be in great condtion. The windows were tinted, no obvious body damage, and the engine bay is really clean. All maintenance records have been kept, but I haven't looked through them yet.

I live in alternate locations and this will be the alternate to my 05.

I appreciate any advice or thoughts.

9000. That is a high price to be asking for that car.

When you drive the car make sure you feel a ruch of power than puts you into the seat around 3300 rpms. That is the IMRC's opening up and they are working.

:stupid: I paid 12.5 for mine 3 years ago w/ <23k on it, mostly stock. I felt about a grand too high but I knew the car and owner. Never beat on it.
