i ordered smoke headlights for my '00. i got them today and noticed that one has a chrome dome over the actual lightbulb, and the other didn't. i looked on my old lights and they both have this piece. i hooked up the lights to see if i absolutely needed the piece, and to me it seems like it would be illegal to not have it bc it's SO bright. we got the piece to pop off on the inside of my old light, but now we can't get it out and i also need to know how to put it on the new light. someone please help.. i gotta get the lights on.
Have you tried e-mailing/calling the company you ordered them from? Try that or try calling a local speed/body shop to see if they can help you out with this. I've never heard of this so I don't think i'd be much of a help on it. Also you might have wanted to put this in the TECH section of the V6 Forums, sorry. EDIT: Oh, BTW. Welcome to Stangnet.
