I am looking into putting gt takeoffs on my car. The main reason i am doing this is becuase i read that 2.25 inch exhaust is the way to go on V6's. If i buy a pacesetter dual exhaust adapter and run the cat back strait from that, will that be a good setup? Also depending on the money situation, i may have flowmaster 40 series put into the system. Are the 40's the best choice for a deep tone?

I too am happy with my flows... but there are quite a few people who will vouch for the magnaflows. Up to you really... I was just happy to get duals and wasn't particularly picky at the time.

I hear people who vouch for both flows and magnas. For budget, stock GT/Mach I mufflers have sufficed for me. But a lot of people say chambered (Flowmaster or Force mufflers from www.summitracing.com Force mufflers are a lot cheaper flowmasters basically ) is the way to go on our V6 for a deep, rumble idle.

if you want it loud, go with flowmaster. if you want a deep, mellow tone, go with magnaflow.
