Well, I woke up great though i was going to have a great day, and i take off from the stop sign by my house and as soon as i go to shift to second gear, POP and my left foot goes to the floor and im stuck in gear heading towards cars stopped in front of me. I rip it out of gear and pull over to find out the clutch cable poped/snapped whatever the hell you want to call it... Had to call a buddy to help me push it home. Now heres the problem, how the hell do i change the cable? where can i get it, and is it really difficult. I know its under the dash, but how do i get it out?

well Zinc, i should have gotten it sold already, but there has been some altercations, and i have to wait till graduation... only 5 more months though, not too bad... Then I will have my new car :D . But for now im still stuck in the stang, which is not too bad, because well when it runs it keeps the honda's in my rear view,... and stock 5.0's and 96-98 GT's :D :D :D ,... But yea anyways, i managed to get the cable at my job, i didnt know we carried it but yeah it will be here tommorow at 12:30, and with my discount the total was $38.93, which isnt too bad, but if i cant change it myself, looks like its going to the Ford Dealer................ Better break out the haynes manual huh:rlaugh: :rlaugh: :D

Well just though i would do a follow up, i got the cable that next day and changed it the following day, Ford said it would have taken them 1 hour, it took me by myself an hour and a half. And the car is much better, much softer clutch and better take offs. lol, plus i save $80 bucks. So for anyone who ever thinks of doing it themselves go for it its not that hard.:SNSign: :flag:

I was just stating a fact that if you can do stuff that is in your sig than a clutch cable should be no problem whatso ever.
