I have been reading alot about them, and i actually bought it when they first came out. Never had time to put it on till recently. My paint & body guy is really good and had to do alot of sanding and fitting.. but heres the end result:
hhmm that actually looks quite nice. I've seen another ABC '03 bumper install on a silver sn95 a while back, and it looked horrible, totally turned me off. I guess you really need to take the time to make it look right. Good job
that looks pretty nice! ive seen some that sit way too low in the front and dont look good without new ground effects, but that looks about as close to a real '03 cobra front end as u could get for an sn95
Those pics also changed my opinion of the 2003 cobra front bumper. I bought a cervini's stalker front because I didn't like the pics I saw of this bumper at the time... I wonder if I made the right decision???
i was very sketchy of it, but took a chance.. i painted the bottom lip flat black so the bumper doesnt look too big.. and it had to be sanded and filled around the fenders a little. It really doesnt look too wide for the car, other pics on the internet show the bumper unpainted and with no side skirts. Thanks for the compliments.
i like it looks good only art that looks off is where the headlights meet the bumper... something just isnt flowing there... but **** id do it looks great
Did they have to modify the side brackets to make the sides flush? I saw in another thread that there is quite a lot needed to get these things to fit... Looks damn good though.
Im leaning towards getting this bumper....i just dont know how they messed up the two arches in the grill area that go up along side of the headlights. I mean....come on....u'd think that'd be the very basics on getting the bumper on a 94-98
they had to shave some off on the sides and make a few custom brackets on the inside to pull her in... There truly is alot of work with fitting this bumper.. we left it half mounted to the car for a week in the sun to make it easier to pull and form where we wanted it to sit, tried not to force it, but make it go naturally a little at a time. Thanks for the great comments
I'm still with Nate ..... I don't see how they did that with the part just inside of the headlights. Looks all twisted compared to factory. Other than that it looks great. Especially on your car. What all have you done to it? Looks like some massive meats out back. BTW, do you have a side view?
You know, i'll say it because it's true... that car looks sexy with that bumper. I'm sure it took some TLC to get it to fit properly, but whatever, that was time well spent. Kudos. ps: paul, i'll buy your bumper ;D
