The accesory delay shutsoff when you open the door......that's it. A lot of people are confused about it and think you can disable it. Not the case. As for the Global Opening, simply have the dealer hook their computer up and enable the feature.

My dealer refused to enable it! I just got back after reading this post. The Service Manager stated that there is a problem with the windows when it rains and that they had a couple cars on the lot that opened in the last storm and allowed the cars to fill with water over night. He further claimed that Ford is working on a "fix" for it and turns off the feature at the factory. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place but I could not find a TSB on this issue.

I did my best to urge the Technician to enable it but he would not. I then asked to add the remote start ($300) and was refused again - this time due to a manual 5-speed.

Anyone know how to override the service computer? Is there a "manual" way to enable/disable these features?
