Hello, I saw this in our local paper today and I tried to get ahold of Chuck (my husband) to ask him whether I should buy them or not, but since I can't reach him I'll ask you guys.

    The ad reads:
Edelbrock performer 289 intake. Non-egr manifold. Fits all early 260-302 Ford engines. $75 or best offer.

The other ad with the same phone number reads: 8.8 axle from 1992 5.0 Mustang. Complete with new traction lock. Geared 3.08:1. $150 OBO. Also have 3.55 gearset. $100 OBO

Is this a good deal on these? If so I want to grab them up tomorrow morning before there gone.
And will this manifold work on our 77 Coupe 302?

The manifold will work, the rear won't fit without lots of rework, and fabrication.

Good deal on the intake. And it fits all 221-302 family small blocks, not just early ones. You can drop that intake on a 90 block and throw out the F.I. if you chose.

Make sure the intake hasn't been shaved to fit the heads. Otherwise sounds like a great deal.

Yeah, that's sneaky. Usually won't know until you go to bolt it on.
