Has anybody bought this IRS package to replace their existing IRS? Also, anyone have an idea of how much it costs? I have a 99 Cobra with stock suspension and am looking for something to lower the ride height and reduce wheel hop. What do you guys think is the best route to go?
Here U.M. I think you know this already......... http://www.gotmustang.com/Default.aspx?tabid=61 http://www.stangnet.com/Latest-Releases/KB-Adv-Cobra-IRS.html
Ahhhh.... That new KB setup huh? Hell I don't know anybody who's running that system currently. It ain't gonna be cheap either I'm betting! I'm sure only the serious road racers are going to go for this... U.M.
Try this With $200 and about 30 minutes of your time I believe you can eliminate a good portion of your wheel hop. After replacing my rear shocks with the Heavy Duty Bilsteins http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=440 my Cobra feels totally different. Launching feels so much more like it did on my 99 GT now. I cannot imagine not having these shocks! The difference is unreal. Install is a breeze, you dont have to remove a single wheel or even get out the jack. On wet pavement I no longer get the "my rear end is going to fall apart" sound and I dont feel the hopping anymore. Money well spent.
