I installed an AEM Brute Force intake for a local 08 GT/CS. With only 4,000 miles on the clock the owner was worried about keeping his warranty and went with this no tune CAI.

My impressions are that AEM took their time with the kit. The instructions were very good and the parts fit nicely. I installed the powder coated intake. It is also available in a polished finish. I believe that with a little clear coat, the factory intake cover would match nicely. The powder coating has more shine than the factory cover. The GT/CS owner may be doing this in the near future, so I will update if/when he does.

The GT/CS owner says he noticed an improvement on the highway of 1-2mpg. Pretty good for no tune!

AEM always had an excellent R&D department coupled with top notch manufacturing. I've used their parts in the past for imports and I had nothing but positive comments for them.

you forget where we live. home of the wind and dirt streets. :( the wind never stops blowing here. everyday forecasts call for 30mph winds. we get wind advisories instead of storm warnings. :rlaugh: they shut down the interstate because there is too much wind on many occasions.

combine that with dry weather and you cant stop the dirt. :notnice: add in the 7220ft elevation, and it blows in more way than one.
