Will a regular aftermarket CD player work with my Mach 460 sound system by doing the usual install of a harness and the player? Or is more needed?

I was looking into getting a Pioneer or Sony player from Wal-Mart or somewhere.

I know I'll lose the 6 cd changer (dang!) but I want a cd player with a good EQ. I hate having just 1 bass and 1 treble range.

I'd like a player with a 10 band EQ, if anyone knows of a decently priced one that would work in the 460 system.

    Thanks!

If anyone knows of a good CD player to recommend, I'd be greatful. Thanks!

I guess no one jumped on this one.

Would my current speakers work with a new sound system? I know when I replaced my front speakers they did not work with my Mach 460 stereo. I don't know too much about sound, so I wasn't sure if it worked the other way around too, meaning would my mach 460 speakers work with an aftermarket stereo.

I think you might find your answers in the sticky at the top. I don't have a mach system but I think you have to get a special harness
