Anyone have recommendations for aftermarket parts vendors for an '03 Cobra? I am looking for an input shaft upgrade & clutch to go with it plus IRS upgrades, some other bits down the line like a radiator and injectors. I'd like to hear of some reputable companies that don't gouge. Its easy to find them on the vast webbernet but I'd like to get some REAL customer feedback. Should I steer clear of anyone? U.M. pointed me in the direction of RWTD.com... and while they handled my tune like champs, they are sorely lacking in the parts area. :(

Thanks for the help guys. :flag:

Yes James & crew at RWTD are primarily engine tuners, but they do installs and sell parts from time to time too. Have you even asked them if they carry what you're looking for?

For an upgraded input shaft for the T-56 most guys go with the 26-spline unit from Liberty Gears. Cost is around $255. You can order one direct from Liberty, or if you look around you may find a vendor with a little cheaper price.

As for IRS upgrades... how far do you want to go? You can get a BilletFlow rear girdle and some Maximum Motorsports IRS upgrades and call it good. Or are you talking beefier half-shafts+? DSS makes stronger ones but they'll cost ya.

    Stay away from RPM Outlet.

    'Nuff said.

I didn't contact RWTD about parts, I was just looking at what they offered on their web site.

As for the IRS, I am going with a girdle and the delrin bushing kit offered up by MM. Its a little cheaper than the half-shafts and from what I've read can help your factory half-shaft handle more power. Granted if I break the ford units, I'll be forking over the 1,400 for the level 5s.

Thanks for the tip on the input shaft. I am going to have the tranny down for the LDC cooling mod anyways so I am just going to knock this all out in one huge shot.
