Will the 13" Alcon Rotors & Saleen Alcon Brakes work on an earlier year fox bodys like my 86 and if so what do I have to do to adapt them to fit??? Will I need 17" inch wheels too?? What about 16" wheels on the car??? Also, this might be a really dumb question, but on Saleen Alcon 13" set ups vs the Saleen Alcon 14" set up, are the Cailpers the same and the rotors just different??? Does anyone have Saleen Alcon Calipers and rotors on their Fox Body Mustang that they can post some pictures of???? Happy Memorial Weekend to you all, be Safe out there and Enjoy!
You would have to swap to 94-95 spindles to start with and you would need 17" wheels minimum. I have the 13" Brembos which is about the same thing except for different caliper. 14" setup requires different rotor, caliper and of course much larger wheels. In 1993 Saleen did put alcons on a Saleen but I don't think it was a 13" setup on stock spindles.
I have a set of adaptors for Alcon to Fox body. They were rare on these cars. PM me if interested in them, I don't have a fox body, or plan to get one. Mike
