I wish the antenna wasnt there. It should have been on the windshiled like most cars today are. It would make the body smoother. i might have it taken out and the body shop just fill in the missing pice on the fender just my .02

Antenna length matters for AM reception only, correct?

I feel the same way. I wish it was either in a different spot or just not there at all. Anyone know of any kits or anything you can get to get rid of it? Or would you just have to have a bodyshop fill in the hole if you took it out?

Has anyone looked into installing a power antenna? There must be a way to make it work.

user quote; "3 out of the 4 radio stations that I listen to come in well. I don't listen to the 4th much anymore because of the signal difference verses even the 14" shortly antenna we sell. If you listen to CD's most of the time or if you have XM or Sirius, this antenna is for you. If you listen to a lot of radio on stations that aren't close to where you live, then I would recommend the 14" shorty antenna we sell in our store."

I bought a 13" billet antenna from Mustang Tuning. I think it looks cool.
