any of you guys runnin kooks headers?

gotta know, how's the fit, power, daily driveability.
do you have the slip fit collectors?
I'm thinking bout shelling out some cash for these, and I'm kinda
reluctant to buy longtubes that are this expensive, I don't want to have to worry about speedbumps and other **** messing up these fancy pants headers. I was thinking of just getting a set of bbk's and not worrying at all, if they get gashed up, no prob, get new ones, same if they rust.

Are kooks headers worth it? do I have to fuss over them?
good idea for daily driver?

btw, I have a N/A 306, big cam, heads, intake.
1-3/4 too big?

I run Kooks on mine and the fit is like no other... The fit great.. They are a little lower then the BBK LT but higher then the bassani's.. I have had all 3 plus MAC

1-3/4 isn't to big... they will work fine..

biggest thing to remember is the 600+ dollars on the Kooks is uncoated/bare so you would want to do soemhting about that to prevent rust.. like coating them around 300...

Mine are 1-3/4 coated kooks with merge($$$) collectors.. close to $1500 when you are all done..
