Ive had the window thing happen to me.

I thought something in the window broke so i took it to the dealer, but it is a easy fix. Roll down the window but hold the button down all the way for 5 seconds after it is fully down. They use the botton to roll it up but after it fully closed hold it again for 5 seconds. That should do it.

Might want to pull the panel off the kick panel on the passenger side and check for water damage. Sounds like your SJB might have taken some water. It's a known problem.

you should be able to see any signs of water once the cover is removed.

Have your dealer look at it. If it is under warranty, I would not bother touching it myself. I would do more harm than good.

My blinker passenger side went out, or so I thought. Went to get replacement bulbs and the thing was working again when I went to put the bulb in so I tossed the bulbs in the console. Then the windows starting acting up (bounce back) while I drove down the road and then suddenly would stop in the full up position or in the drop down position. I reset the windows myself and then the blinker started acting up again. This time I replaced the bulb and was looking for a new smaller light weight battery anyway. Since the new battery has been in no blinker or window issues. This all took place in the first year of having the car, factory warranty is up now and no problems with either since. May be a voltage issue…?

If the computer doesn't get the exact right voltage at all times, it can show up in mysterious ways.

In my older 00 GT, when the battery started getting weak after a few years the guages would all swing to their maximum positions and then back to zero and then to the normal readings every time I started the car. New battery, and it stopped doing this.

I'm sure the new cars are more sophisticated, but like any computer they rely on a steady, sure source of electricity.

Thanks for this thread. My drivers window did this this morning, and the down, 5 seconds, up 5 seconds worked like a charm!
