Anyone have experience with, or knowledge about Mercedes-Benz cars?

Thanks for the feed back everyone. I passed on the car, although it was hard to do. Between the increase in insurance cost, one oil change per year, and the minimum schedule A maintenance done once a year I was looking at an additional $700 per year just to have this car on the road. A brake job was $500 for the front, and $500 for the rear! I saw the writing on the wall and knew this just wasn't a wise decision for someone like myself. I don't want a car that I can't service myself. I'm back to looking and I'm not liking what I'm seeing. A damn AWD car cost more than an SUV! How is that possible!?!?

I know my AWD ford 500 is worth nothing these days (2005). But is has been dead reliable (90+k miles).... it is not the fastest thing off the line but on the highway it does pretty good due to the the CVT... and gets 24 MPG... we call it the Antelope cause of how good it is in the snow.
