I ordered the same thing, there are a few guys i know with the shaker 1000 2005 here where i live and they have had no problems with them. they play burnt cd's and all. The guys i talked too have had no mechanical problems either. Im hoping mine will have the same luck. good luck with yours. Do you have a build date?

:( no, but hoping to change that soon, going to a medium sized dealer and offering my eternal gratitude for as high a priority as they can pull. Just wanted to know if I should leave my CDs at home and use the radio (/shudder) or bring the CDs with in my hopeful beast of a horse.
Edit: I am planning on sticking with the shaker 500 as I value my eardrums, I remember the 500 and the 1000 having similar problems though, is that correct?

ive had my V6 for about a week now and have experienced no problems with my shaker 500, i still do plan on replacing the system with an aftermarket but im very suprised with how good the shaker system sounds after reading numerous forums that say how crappy it sounds
    good luck with yours :nice:

I have had 0 problems with my 2005 Shaker 1000. I would bet the 2006s would be fine.
