I got mine done for about $400 including the gear and spedo gear. My Dad has a 01 Cobra and its gonna run about $1000 including gear and spedo re-recalc. I guess the Cobra is more involved and takes more time to instal.

You have several places to go!

First off check out www.gefracing.com for the gears only 140 for the set and you can pick them up!

Second check out Team Ford of Marrietta and the SVTOA Club of Atlanta at www.svtoa-atlanta.org

We get excellent deals to the tune of only $60 dollars per hour labor charges and if I am not mistaken it is only a 4 hour job!

So Call brandon at Team Ford at 770-422-1100 and tell him what you are wanting!

If you need any more information PM or email me at t_pinson@bellsouth.net

Just to touch on what Travis was saying. I got my gears at GEF. The 4.30s are more expensive since they didn't keep them in stock. Those were $198. Team in Marietta did the install for $398. I bought the speedcal from another stanger for $60 and installed it myself before the gear install that way all I had to do was change the settings and drive home.

Hey 99GT also remember that Trent had a IRS axle adn you have a live axle. So his pricing would be a little more than yours!

Call Brandon and he can tell you for sure! Then if you want or have a chip or SCT tuner you can change the computer either way.

Just remember that you will have to change the computer with a speed cal or a chip or tune of some kind. I did not know that until after the gears, hell they did not know it until after the swap and I had to drop another 400 for the chip and custom burn.

MV Performance out in Statham has done all the work on my car. They charge me $275 for install on gears including all the fluids and stuff. You can buy the gears from gefracing like mentioned above. You will also need a speedcal or some sort of tune to correct the speedo and odometer.

    Ask for Shane or Tim

Good luck on Tim or Shane or Kanin if he is still there? Everytime I tried to call, they were just too busy which is good for them of course.
