attic shooting range

    thinking about building a shooting range fro my pellet rifle in my attice, also urn it into a seperate room....want to use the hood of my mustang for the door...what do you guys think?...

    Be extremely careful with converting an attic into a room. If your attic is formed by trusses, the truss chords were most likely not meant to take any loads other than the ceiling weight. If you have an attic meant for storage, you'll probably be ok. I'd get a permit for the work or hire an engineer to confirm that it's ok structurally.
