Cast crank in autos vs forged crank in manuals.

Well you need to buy a preditor or SCT tuner. The computer makes the auto shift like a sludge box. If I am shifting at 5700rpm I tend to hit the rev limiter on my car, it sputters and then shifts. If I shift from 4800 to 5200 rpms it won't shift until about red line at 6k. On my auto you may as well leave it in drive stock. It could be my car since I only have one but I'd say these cars are setup for more street driving. Tires and made to make a firm shift at will and there sweet.

Good job on going to the credit union, I don't trust dealership financing.

your 20 with 2 mustangs? wow. nice cars by the way.

in my experience fords with autos shift higher when the over drive is turned off, just something to try.

i like the sound as much as i did my bassani, plus ALOT cheaper, and my tail pipes are stiff unlike on my driver side tailpipe on the GT! cant wait for the x pipe, got it dyno'ed today :( and the guys recommend the bassani x, but i want one with interchangable cats and straight pipe like slp's x, plus im hopin to find one that the cats, when on, dont hang as low as my gt so when i get a drop it dont drag everywhere! i took it to the local shop to have it put on, i have no tools, plus i had them tac it in place. all around a great product and no complaints so far!

i was hoping around 265ish, but honestly i didn't know what to expect, it dynoed 258 and 271, they told me a nice air filter, x pipe and predator would get me close to 300ish, i raced an auto ws6 last night and my "258" put me about a car infront of it till i slowed due to a car in front of me! so i guess it aint too bad for now.

The heat must have hurt you rnumbers.

Was that on a DynoJet or a Mustang dyno?

    SAE or STD numbers?

SHould say on your dyno printout.

How many miles are on your car?
Do you have a K&N filter or the snorkel removed?

i hope it was the weather, this was about an hour laters temp, "89°F Felt Like 99°F Updated Jul 18 05:45 p.m. CT UV Index: 1 Low Wind: From SSE at 7 mph Humidity: 64% Pressure: 29.95 in. Dew Point: 75°F" it was on a dyno jet, not sure bout the std or sae cause i dont have the print out with me - but whats the diff between the 2? its got about 12,750 ish, and i removed the silencer but still have factory paper filter in. which k&n drop in can i go with? and can i get it at the auto zone?
