This isn't just a Saleen only question I don't guess, but what all documentation is avaliable for our cars. I got a copy of the saleen window sticker (the photo copy one, not the $100 original), I have my SVT certificate. I contacted the selling dealer and he said he was not willing to research any paperwork or anything on my car. What else is available for documentation of our cars, such as how they came equipped from Ford, what was done at Saleen, etc? I see mention of some "999" report or some such in some posts? Just want to gather up whatever I can now, I'm sure it will be more and more difficult as time passes.
When I purchased 98-0136 last year, I immediately contacted Liz @ Team Saleen to request a duplicate of the original Saleen window sticker because the previous owner did not make it available to me. At first Liz said that she could have one duplicated for a fee, but then later stated that they were no longer being offered. All she was able to provide was a reduced size copy of the original sticker.
