I know in our Fox Bodys that we have 84-86 SVO Axle lengths, but what is the spline? 28 or 31?

Fo $230 they better be aftermarket high strength. You can get Moser axle's for that price direct from Moser. If they are selling stock they are much weaker.

These are moser hardened axles. 50 resto gives me a discount on all other stuff so i ordered it thru them.

    Why do you need axles?

Well, the car has 100k on it. the guy that I bought from who I paid to put in new gears screwed it all up. so, if i plan on going into the rearend and pay labor, i may as well replace all the bearings inner/outer, the axles as well as rebuild the track loc. Just makes sense.

Ya, rears should be left to seasoned experts only. I've seen so many people get shafted.
Good idea to replace it all.
Did you consider going all 31 spline with an auburn?

I would if i was going to race it or something. but I just do some spirited driving now and then. Besides, the factory rear can really take a beating. I think that when you get over say 425 ft lbs of torque te heavier rear internals are needed.

Only reason i mentioned it, is because 31 spline and 28 spline parts are very similar in cost. I've had good factory traction locks, but they really don't compare to upgraded units.
Really not a big deal, figured i'd just throw it out there if you considering replacing the entire unit.
