Hey, the bass on my Mach 460 system has been completely shot for three weeks now. This used to happen for shorter intervals and then fix itself. Now it seems permanant. Any ideas?

It's all stock as far as I can tell. If anything is aftermarket, the previous owner did it...but I'm pretty sure it's stock .

Mine does it too, I was thinking it was the amp overheating on my aftermarket sub, but the base on the stock speakers quits too. Its usually on long trips or extremely hot days.... hmmmm

In my moms car she has this porblem. She drives a 2000 nissan maxima and it has a little sub in the back. It would stop working which means no base. I was messing with it one day and I pushed some wires up and it started working. It does not work for a long time (usually after it is turned off I have to do it again). Anyways its just some wires with a bunch of colors up under the sub. That might not be your problem though
