    Hi guys,

I'm back in Regina to get the Stang out of storage and my battery fried over the winter so I decided to get an Optima. It's really difficult to find Optima batteries around here, I managed to find a 34/78 at Costco but it is slightly to wide for the stock tray. Does anyone have any suggestions how to make it fit or where I can find a 75/25 which is what I hear would fit exact.

    Thanks,
    Graham

I got a yellow top cause I have a pretty decent stereo. But I think I might be returning it cause everyone seems to say that the 75/25 is the size to get.

I know Walmart sells Optima, becuase I bought a blue top deep cycle for my camper there last year. I can't recall what sizes they sold though.

Ya I was gonna say Walmart too. I know the one that fits in my car is a 5872. The first 2 numbers "58" denote the size (Height Width) of the battery and the second two numbers "72" denote the cold cranking amps.

I took my battery into the place where I bought and they managed to get it charged up. I also stopped over at Walmart to check and they had the 75/25 in a red top. Now that the other one is okay I think I'll wait. I'm still debating if I should get yellow or red.
