    I spun an engine bearing and prolly bent a rod.How much do you think it will cost to repair.Its a 99 cobra.The dealership said a new engine would cost 6000 with install.I dont have that kinda money sittin around.Thanks.

    you shouldn't go to the dealer for that....they won't even give you a reach aournd while screwing you on the prices.

    they sell motors....you have to find a local mechanic. i've also seen our motors on ebay....

    An engine shop would be able to do a stock rebuild for much much cheaper than $6000
