Just now walked in from Houston Raceway. I got in 3 runs in my stock 98 automatic:nono:

Weather wasn't the best, but here are the runs.

Run #1 against 05-06 GT with girl driver

    R/T: .335
    60' : 2.266
    330: 6.396
    1/8: 9.772
    MPH: 73.39
    1000: 12.685
    1/4 : 15.145
    MPH: 91.24

Result: The girl took me by 3-4 car lengths though not as bad as I was expecting. LOSE

Run #2 against multicolored sunfire gt with unpainted bodykit.

    RT: .683 (wasn't ready :()
    60': 2.362
    330: 6.533
    1/8: 9.933
    MPH: 72.95
    1000: 12.852
    1/4: 15.318
    MPH: 91.09

Result: Walked the Sunfire by a long shot:flag: WIN

Run #3 against 02 SS with stripes.

    RT: .223
    60': 2.300
    330: 6.476
    1/8: 9.880
    MPH: 72.83
    1000: 12.801
    1/4: 15.266
    MPH: 91.16

Result: Cut a great light against the SS which I feel caught him off guard. I took a decent lead on him but he was reeling me in before I hit third. I assume he missed a shift since he couldn't pull past before the finish. WIN

Stock 98 auto with 145k miles. Just wanted to get a baseline before things begin to change :nice:

I had an SS until the 1/8th one time before my cams...now it would be a good run. I can cut a pretty good light.

Well he staged before I even got the chance to pre-stage. He cut a horrible light and might have even stalled :rlaugh:. By no means am I saying my car is faster than a camaro, hell the car is slower than a lot of ricers :)

I was somewhat surprised at my 2.26 60'. I didn't think this POS was able to cut a 2.2 :)

Sad thing is... Even though he had all those problems with the launch, he was still reeling me in at the end :rlaugh: Stock automatic NPIs for the lose :nice:

The 15.14 isn't too incredibly bad being that I was expecting 15.4-15.5. I won $5 from a family member that said the car couldn't pull under a 15.5 :D

It's soon time to begin the mods. I'm waiting for the last bit of the annuity to come in before I drop some cash.

actually your times arent that bad for a npi auto but stills shows how slow they are but I think they look nice.

hahahaha man that would shoot my confidence down if i had a family member bet me my car wouldnt run under a 15.5 lol. Me and my dad actually have a bet when he is finished restoring his 66vette. We are racing for slips even though he already owns my car lol if i lose i just wont get to drive it anymore. Its only a 327 3spd but has 300hp and 360tq and weighs 3000lbs lol he is keeping it stock no mods but just making it a show car but wants to also drive it daily. Im excited for him to finish it because its an awesome car but i think i might win just mayb if he cant get that light a$$ thing to hook up.
