Who makes the best headgaskets for a 95 3.8L. I just bought a 95 stang, my first v6 and it has a blown headgasket. I plan on re-surfacing the heads and want to put on a very good set of headgaskets.

The MLS(Multi-Layer Steel) gaskets are the best ones to use.

Here is a list that I borrowed from V6power: (Part Numbers to the left)

Here is what is needed for a proper head/cam swap:

2L3Z-6079-BA - Valve Grind Kit (heads, intake , intake seal, valve cover, and tstat housing gaskets) List: $76.63
YF2Z-6020-AA - Front Engine Cover Gasket (aka Timing Cover) List: $7.95
    F7ZZ-6065-AA - Long Head Bolts List: $40.04/set of 8
    F7ZZ-6065-BA - Short Head Bolts List: $19.60/set of 8
    1F2Z-6571-AA - Valve Seals List: $24.96/set of 12
    F65Z-8507-BA - Water Pump Gasket List: $9.27
    F4SZ-6700-A - Front Crank Seal List: $14.11

    Total List: $192.56

    Other items include:
    RTV - $5
    Engine assembly lube - $5
    Loc-tite - $5
6qts Engine oil - (price varies) RP = $36 (need an extra qt to lube bolts/etc)
    Oil filter - ~$4
    Coolant - $10
    Metal Parts Cleaner - $3
Click here for a picture of the extra items

    Total Misc. - $66
    Total Everything - $250.56

This is everything you would need to to install heads/cam.
