As I am sure all of you are aware it is close to that time of the year to start with the winter projects. I have chose to start on mine now. In for store this winter is QA1 entire front end setup, k member, a arms, coilover front suspension setup and new caster camber plates, I am putting a ford 9 inch in the rear as tubular upper and lower control arms, Got a aluminum driveshaft i am putting in it and a TKO 600 transmission. For the finale I am switching my 347 stroker motor fuel injected setup to a 351w to 427 stroker carb setup with procharger. I am also cleaning up the engine bay when I have the engine out and the underneath side of the car when the rearend comes out. Sumping the fuel tank as well and running new lines. Will have progress pics posted as often as possible. Hoping to have it done in 3-4 months. Got some starting pics to post up this weekend to kick it off right. Look forward to hearing comments and suggestions from everyone.

Sounds like tons of fun! I do have one question tho. Why are you switching to a carb setup if you're keeping a centrifugal blower on the car? Just wondering.

I am switching to a carb setup to make it easier to tune and I want to be able to get rid of all the wires in the front. It will make it so much easier to diagnose a problem if something ever does go wrong. And I have heard you can pull more ponys out of the carb setup. Plus I just like the carb setups.I think it will look cool.

Ok here are some pics from a couple of days ago when I started to work on the car.

Here is the rearend That I picked up wednesday night. I had to give 400.00 and my rearend for this built 9 inch. I didn't think that was too bad considering it would have cost me around 2k to buy one new. Here are the before pics. I have to clean it up and paint it. I am also swapping the disc brakes that are on it now to the 94-95 mustang disc brakes. Going to paint everything up real nice before it goes in.

That sitting next to my 9 inch is a 7.5 out of a v6 that I had layin around. Going to put that under the car for now while I clean, modify, and paint the 9 inch.

Cobra motor I had sitting in the garage from my cousins car. Doing a cleanup on it as well.

I will have more pics up either tomorrow night or monday.

This is gonna be sick man. Keep the pics coming. I like the plan you have going and agree with the carb set-up. I think at the end of the day not only will it be easier to work with but way cheaper on the old wallet.

Ok so it has been a while since I have posted last. I bought a house and remodeled it so it has been eating up all of my spare time as you can probably imagine. I finally got started working on my project again but I did decide to go a different route. I thought about this for a while now and I decided to get another project car instead of cutting up my very first mustang let alone my first car. I know later down the road i would hate myself for cutting it up and putting mini tubs and a roll cage and so on and so forth into my first car. So my project car is a 1994 cobra I picked up for a pretty decent deal. Here are some pics from when I picked it up and from a couple days after I started.
