Hey can anyone tell me why there is such a big difference in the figures between Kelly bluebook and NADA bluebook.
Im getting ready to trade my 01 Cobra in so I look it up on both sites and come back with a $3000 difference. NADA being more.
Anyone know why this is? Is there something different between the two bluebooks? ie... dealers use one and the lenders use the others.

Man that's a good question, wish I had an answer. When I was looking to see what my 97 'stang was worth, KBB, NADA & Edmunds all had different values. I just took the average of each (and added $500). A bud of mine (strickly) goes by NADA.

I believe loan officers go by the NADA. In the past the credit union I used would only loan that amount.

I've worked for dealerships for years and the only one that the sales departments ever use is NADA.
