OK, so I've decided on a C&L and a predator. Now, while I'm under the hood, I might as well change the TB too. What I don't understand is, how can a TB change the airflow enough to produce a horsepower gain but NOT require a tune? I read a review in one of the mags (MM&FF?) of the BBK TB and CAI. They claimed it made a bunch of power but didn't require a tune. "HP" or "B.S."? I don't trust the mags to tell the truth about parts from the people who pay their bills through advertising. I'll spend the money for even a little gain but not if it's going to cause problems with my canned tune. I wasn't planning on a dyno tune until I finish modding.
