Okay. I have searched my @$$ off. Ive been trying to find a body kit that will fit a GT. I dont want LX door trim. So far the only thing i can find is the Cobra replica. All other cervini's, ABC exclusive, wings west, ETC is LX only. What is out there for the GT? i have a busted up rear bumper and a side thats shot. and the other side skirt needs TLC so i would like to just get a whole kit. any ideas? PLEASE include pics if you can
buy MM&ff OR 5.0 Mustangs and super fords, they have companies in there. I think abc exclusive is one of them
I'm getting the cobra rear bumper, saleen wing, cobra r hood, and the Cervini's stalker front. Most kits are for an LX, but there are a few out there for GTs. Many of the kits out there are ugly, leaving the Stock, Saleen, Cobra, Sanja, and Stalker pieces as the only decent stuff IMO. GTs look really good with the Cobra rear, and they come with the side panels built in so you don't need your panels that are beat up.
Ive got both of the new ones.. Looked at all the companies. and everything is for LX :-( Thats why i came on here. There has to be sometihng for a GT. i lvoed some of the ABC kits.. really nice and clean but still kind of agressive.. but id have to do an LX conversion. and that isin't going to happen. So its stock or cobra it looks like?
hey if you want to rice your stang out www.mrbodykit.com makes a fugly kit but I pray you don't. I always like the stalker front bumper, cobra rear bumper with lx pipes, lx tail lights, a saleen wing, and a cowl hood on a gt. I also like the stock saleen setup.
I looked at mrbodykit.com and saw some of the stuff. Needless to say some of that stuffis too ricey to be on a geo storm with a 3 foot bookshelf on the back of it. Hideous. Which is why I mentioned the ABC kits.. like the ABC700 kit.. very clean and simple. and the AXE rear is awesome (the rest is a little out there) Since it looks like the Cobra is the best out there, who has the best price on a cobra kit (rear, sides, and front or front insert, whichever. dont matter to me) with low shipping? I don't have too much to spend as I prefer most of my money to go to a tranny that can handle some power.
i'm about 2 1/2 hours from cervinis so I was able to save the 100 dollar truck freight shipping but thats about the normal of what your going to have to pay to shipp a bumper or hood or ground effects.
