I have a 98 Cobra, and with the mods i have now it puts me in the low 13's with me driving. Do i need boost to get in the low 12's or is it possible to do it NA ?

I would think that in order to run low 12's you will probably still need a little boost. Probably a 6 lb. pulley or maybe a 100 shot of nitrous. Either way, you will want a good set of sticky tires!

i was hoping to do it NA unless its gonna be just as if not more expensive than a power adder, then i would just add a blower or something:shrug:

Well you do have the 4v which responds a bit better than our 2vs. you still have many mods you can do like gears, tb, tuner and or dyno tune, headers and cams.
IF I had your car I would try to get as much hp as i could NA and then see if thats enough. I know someones gonna say that there is no such thing as too much but a 4v NA with full boltons has got to be pretty fun. I dont think you would be to far from low 12s with full bolt ons and some good tires

Get some headers, 4.30's, dyno tune and some Mickey Thompson ET Streets and you should have some nice solid 12's :nice:

Just save the hassle of cams and blah blah blah...just do the blower, you'll enjoy it alot and if you don't you can always sell it! Basically, if you're not wanting to keep the car for long stick with boltons and just leave it HOW IT IS...if you wanna keep it forever/long then go with the blower.
