I sold my 91 lx turbostang a while ago, but what do you know I'm building another one! this time it's an 88...I pretty much have everything, just need a few odds and ends, but what i wanted to ask before i start is, what do i need to do for it to be able to handle about 25+ # of boost?

Well you're gonna need more fuel for one...

I believe with 20 psi and a good cam you can make 300 hp (this is what I was told anyway). I think 20 psi or more is really pushing it on the stock fuel system though...you'll really need bigger injectors for that, which in turn require some kind of standalone engine management (i.e. big bucks)

Well, a couple years ago I asked the guy from lazercams.com for a quote on a custom cam (he has a form you fill out online, then he sends it back to you and gives you the specs and prices). The cam he showed me had about .440" lift, can't remember the other specs but I still have the e-mail, anyway he quoted me $168 for a "slider" and $288 for a roller. Of course, there are other cam options out there but I can't say I'm overly familiar with all of them.

Oh, I should add, there was a guy on turboford who was running an A237 (same thing I have), with a holset and something around 20 psi and he made 300 hp.
