as the title says, just bought a ford racing bullitt suspension kit...what should i order to compliment the set up? for example, are caster/camber plates worth it on a street car? i was thinking i would order an energy suspension bushing kit...anything else i should be looking into???
Maybe instead of the bushings (well I would get the ster. rack bushings still) getting a set of 03-04 cobra front LCA's along with either some MM rear U/LCA's or UPR U/L's would be a good all around setup for the street and track. I would say you dont "need" CC plates as the bullitt setup does not lower you too much and after all...it is a stock suspension setup...just the best stock suspension ever put on a mustang from 79-04.
MM C/C plates, 03/04 Cobra Front Control arms, Steeda Bumpsteer kit(if lowered, you dont need them) and a nice set of uppers n lowers in the rear and ur done... i have the same suspension kit... it handles like a champ... just those springs that came with it, IMHO sucked...
are the 03/04 cobra front LCA's a direct swap? anything i need to do in order to make them work properly with the '95?
Direct swap. They come with better bushings and ball joints they are also stronger and reduce the turning radi. People are going to them instead of fixing busted ball joints alone as the price is about the same to swap the whole thing. Full length sub frames I forgot to mention that. 100% get a set.
