Ok its supposedly a 30 minute install, but in reality I spent close to 3 hours trying to get the brake and clutch pedals on. Probably the hardest vehicle mod I have ever done. One of the install articles I read said to push down on the pedal with your foot and twist back and forth to get it to seat properly. Well I advise anyone who is attempting this install to NOT use this method, I ended up tearing one of the rubber grips off the aluminum pedal. I finally got the pedals on buy using a short stubby 3 inch craftsman screwdriver to pry the rubber edges on. The first and only time I have ever used that screwdriver, I always thougth it was worthless but I woudl have been stuck without it So now Im debating if i should buy another pedal to replace the one with the torn rubber on it, and spend another half day trying to install again, with my luck id rip the new one too. Ok im done venting, but just an FYI for anyone planning on those pedals get a good nights rest and don't attempt it hung over trust me....
I had just as hard of a time installing mine. Pain in the butt. But look great, well worth the trouble.
yeah, it was a pain people recommend using soap on the rubber and warming it up too. my rubber is torn a little on both the gas and clutch pedals but I'll never take them off so I don't mind.
what I did is very very hot water and I put the pedel in and let it sit. after few minut rubber gets very soft on those pedel so while still very hot I put some dish shop on it , and leather glove easy install. Try it very very easy to put brake and clutch , try next time
Should have read mustang tunings instructions I boilder mine in water and they weren't so hard to get on.
boil it in water for a minute. put some dish soap on it, slip the bottom part on the pedal and use your foot to put it on using pressure and a left to right motion. now if you figure out how to remove the gas pedal, help me out . Oh, and the dead pedal. I have nothing there! No clips to put it on
It is easier to pull the gas pedal out of the car and change it because you have to pull out the lock pin and then tap out the center pivot pin it was a TPITA. othr than that look great
Yeah that was nightmare! Broke like every one of my old pedals in the process. Hopefully I won't have to do that again.

I went through hell putting mine on as well. It took me about 2 hours to install. The rubber grip on my brake pedal is torn and looks very rough, but it seems secure. So I'm leaving it on.
I'm glad it was revived. I didn't have the boil in water method until now. I used dish soap and a small screwdriver to put mine on.
this is not the proper way of doing it...but i did it this way...i cut a little of the rubber around to make it slip on easier....ive had them on for a few months now and they havent came off...they seem pretty tight on the pedal...
