So I was about to put my new bumper on and of course I see a 2" crack running down the side of it :bang:. Didn't see this when I got it and I'm moving in a week so theres no time to send it back(company is based in cali). My question is should I leave it off so the body shop can fix it properly before they paint it or can I go ahead an install it and they'll fix it on the car? Always seems like something goes wrong when I'm working on the car lol.

i say get it fixed first, then have it painted and put on.

no sense in havint it painted, fixed later, then repainted.

do it once, do it right.

you will get much better results painting the bumper off the car. the repair will require it come off anyway. might as well save the coin and get it all done at once--off the car.
