I ordered a new C&L intake and Accufab throttle body from JDsPerformance. JD shipped the intake via UPS. Well UPS says they delivered the package but no sign of it at the house. I spoke to UPS and they said I had to wait 7 days while they investigated. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this from UPS?

did you get a tracking number from JDsperformance? if yes, did you go to ups.com and enter it? if yes, what does it show? if it shows that it has been delieverd, you have to start thinking about theft or something i'd imagine. Every time i have had something shipped UPS, they've always required a signature, but i think that is up to the shipper, not the reciever..

Yup. Some ********** ended up stealing my package. Neighbor saw a car pull in my driveway shortly after the UPS truck left and a guy ran up to the house and swiped the box. The good part was that UPS honored the insurance claim because of the neighbor's statement! I sign for my goods now, or arrange to have them delivered to a neighbor's house in my absence.

I have a tracking number and it says delivered. UPS did not require a signature. I am really really really pissed. I save for several months for that part.

contact the place where you bought them and suggest they start requireing UPS to get the customers signature. also ask them if they insure the parts they ship. keep calling UPS too, and talk to your neighbors about it.

also, be patient with the UPS people you deal with. there's a good chance it's not their fault. ask about any shipping insurance. i think that there's an automatic minimum coverage figured in. good luck, man.

my wife works for ups. I could just be that the driver put is somewhere you have not looked. or someone jacked it. My wife has had this happen before where she left something between a screen and door and the poeple did not use that door. So she went back the next day and cleared it up. they will give a notice to the driver tomorrow to follow up on it.

The driver call this morning. He didn't drop it off like UPS said, apparently the packaged did require a signature but the driver didn't leave a note letting me know that one was required. :bang:

I have bad luck with UPS. I have had many packages "misplaced". I eventually received them all but still a PITA though.

I had a package that was shipped UPS blue (2nd day air) that went from the east coast to Albuquerque in a day then rode around in the UPS truck for a week because they were too lazy to deliver it. I got the same run around from them. You'd think with as much as UPS pays drivers, they could find drivers with an IQ higher than your average house plant, but I guess not from what I have observed. :chair:

UPS SUCKS.. They delivered my Tires to the Local Discout Tire Center...

There excuse was that they had 5 other sets going there and mine must of been caught up in the mix... I ended up having to go half way across town with print outs showing they were my tires.. and arguing with Discount that those were truely mine.. no one there would believe me that UPS would accidently miss-deliver them.. but it wasn't to hard to convince them of UPS's stupidity!!

    I work for UPS

A lot of what has been said is true, but lets not forget all of the deliveries that have no problems. I understand you are venting. You need to get on the UPS Manager. Usually if you talk to the driver, he will take the time to make it right. Also remember that just like every other profession, you have your good and your bad. Keep on the manager and tell them you are going to call the shipper and recommend that they use another delivery service.
