CAI, Mass Air??

OK, I'll soon be getting either a CAI or a Mass Air Kit, but I was looking at them and they look the same to me..why is the Mass Air so much more expensive? And also I looked on my airbox and there are 2 little sensors or something coming out of the airbox that plugs into the inlet tube, and I just figured that the new kit would have these and I would just plug them back into the new one, but the one CAI I found doesn't look like it has these.

Don't waste you money on a new MAF meter or CAI. The CAI is basically cosmetic also...just get a K&N replacement filter and you'll be good. Put the money towards some gears or something.

CAI's have a minimum result on the 2v 4.6. But if you DO get one, get one that is plastic, not metal, for temp reasons.

If you want to get a CAI just get the densecharger system 4 from partsshopper

get a drop in K&N and a turbonater


or you could go with a full K&N FIPK

Everyone here makes fun of MustangRay because he focuses on cosmetics I believe. Silly stuff imo.

Anyway, Ray, don't do intake work until you do full exhaust work (LTs, midpipe, catback). Once that's done THEN do your intake work (CAI/Mass Air, 75mm TB, Plenum). That will free up some ponies!
