Caldwell You have Pictures..... DUW !!!

First of all I would like to thank Doug for getting me off my lazy butt and making me clean my car. Now I should kick yours cause I spent 18 hours this weekend doing it. :rlaugh: J/K I got alittle carried away, but the result was worth the effort.

10 hours under the hood, cleaning with purple magic. After removing the intake and other items.

    Washed twice
Mothers Claybar on the entire vehicle
    Washed twice again
    Meguires step 1, 7, 26

I must admit, I was pretty satisfied with the Meguires program. The stuff came off alot easier than I would imagine.

Well since I can't figure out how to do the attachments here, seems to only allow 2. Here are a couple of engine shots.

Engine bay turned out real nice! :nice: I should have cleaned mine up a little this weekend, but I had WAY to many other things to worry about, like, is my car gonna blow up when I start it?

    Thanks Guys,

When I Retired, I told my wife I felt a mid-life crisis coming on. So I said you pick... Girl friend or Sports car. So she helped me pick this one out about 4 years ago. She said that it would be cheaper than a GF. hmmm I don't know how she feels now. :D

I was gonna put the decals on, they are still in the box. I am looking at a company now that can make replica's that are magnetic and are real thin. That way I can put them on for car shows and stuff and then take them off. Sorta the best of both worlds.

Yeah the light bar is sweet. I think that all the converts should have had them from the factory, buts thats just me. I am getting the saleen speedster cover next. Those are really nice.

Just to give you an idea of why it took 10 hours under the hood. Here is a before shot. It used to be clean, until I took it on vacation... :bang: :bang:

That's real crisp man - I wish I had a lift and something to hold my engine to take it out - 10 years it def. needs to be cleaned and polished - I'd prolly gain 20hp just from that.

Whole car looks awesome, especially under the hood, 'cause I know how much work is involved (I haven't cleaned mine up yet, I just know how much work is involved :D)

Painting the lettering and background on the intake really makes it snap without drawing all of the attention to it.

    Great job, nice cobra :nice:
