I was set on a vortech but the more I read about turbos the more I like them. Does anyone make a turbo kit with a CARB# and that will pass smog here? When I look at car pics with a turbo it looks like nobody runs a smog pump.
From the CARB website: http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/devices/amquery.php EO: D-140-26 View PDF EO Date: 9/15/1992 Manufacturer Name: Spearco Performance Products, Inc. Thank for the help. Now that I think about it I have never even seen a mustang with a turbo with my own eyes. I geuss Ill just have to go with the vortech
I knew that Spearco made intercoolers, but I didn't know they made turbo setups. They are a highly regarded company in the turbo world.
I called a few places that makes turbo kits for are cars and they all said the same thing. It just cost to much for the CARB#. I guess they don't see a market for turbos in California Maybe I can get a used Incon kit if I can even find one for sale. Might not be that bad because I can still make block splitting power with a supercharger I just like how efficient turbos are.
