Ok, this really doesnt have anything do do with mustangs except that im selling this item to put wheels on my mustang! I have a set of 20" wheels that were on my 06 f150(sold to buy the mustang, so theres another tidbit!) and my buddy who has an 04 silverado wants to buy them...however, they are 5 lug wheels, and he has a 5 lug pattern but they are off by a fraction! Like a 1/4 inch. Is there any way to get them to fit? Some sort of an adapter? Thanks!
Checkout this site www.ezaccessory.com They have 5 lug to 5 lug adapters as well as a few 6 to 5 adapters. Just remember that the first lug pattern is the truck the second pattern is the wheel. From what I could find both of the trucks you spoke of should be 6 lugs hubs. The Chevy is a 6X5.5" (139.7) and the Ford is a 6x135. This page should be the trick to get the wheels on the truck. http://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Adapter_6_Lug_5_5_To_6_Lug_135_p/6550-6135.htm They are sold in pairs so your friend will need to buy 2 sets at 89 bucks a pair. I ran this companies adapters on my lifted dually, 5 years 40,000 miles with problems.
