I have a 92 convert. I have two questions, How do you get the back seat out (without breaking anything.. lol) and do you think it is possible to get subs in the area with the convertible motor? I suppose as soon as I find out how to take it off nicely I will answer my second question. Thanks.

I had my top repaired the other day, and the technician told me never to have any thing behind the rear seat when the top goes down because it will bust you rear window as it folds down into that area.

to take the back seat out on coupes alls you have to do is push the bottom of the back seat towards to rear of the car to un-clip it and then it comes right out. the back of the back seat there is 2 bolts at the bottom...3/8 , 7/16 somthing like that... take them off then it has 4 clips at the top of the seat.....but it's a vert. so i think it'll be different...sense it has no rear deck.as far as the subs...where do you want to put them exactly?? do you have pics??

    Hmm

Well, when I pulled a new conv. top motor and pistons out of an 89 stang at the junkyard there was space on the left and right where the motor is enclosed... but i just ripped the seat off as it was already garbaged (stained with god knows what) and I was curious as to of how to take mine out...
